Paul is a senior lecturer in general practice in a post shared between the University of Central Lancashire, NHS East Lancashire Primary Care Trust and Colne Corner Surgery, Colne.

Full Profile

Paul has been a GP for more than thirty years and have a broad experience of group and small practice in rural and urban settings. He has a particular interest in work based learning in primary care and postgraduate general practice medical education. He has been involved in postgraduate medical education as a GP trainer, group leader in the Northumbria vocational training scheme and as a GP tutor in the North East and more recently in East Lancashire. Paul is leading projects which will explore and evaluate the development of learning cultures in general practice settings and these will build on his PhD research.
