The Global Sound Movement

The Global Sound Movement is an award-winning arts project which sees researchers travelling to remote parts of the world to capture the sounds of rare musical instruments which are unique to a remote indigenous tribe, community or geographic location.

It is led by Paresh, together with Phil Holmes, senior lecturer in music production. The links below give a background and summary of the activities taken place to date, together with details of the award received.
