I am delighted to be part of the medical school team at UCLan. I am a specialty trainee in acute internal medicine with special interest in medical education. I teach phase 2 year 3 students for this academic year. I am a module lead for clinical neurology. I also teach clinical reasoning, cased based learning in general medicine, clinical skills and acts as academic supervisor for a group of years-3-students. So far it has been a fulfilling experience for me.

Dr Olajide Ogunjimi graduated from Olabisi Onabanjo University (Nigeria) in 2003. He came to the UK in 2004. He joined Hull and East Yorkshire foundation school in 2007 where he completed academic foundation training in 2009. He finished Core Medical Training in West Yorkshire Deanery in 2012/13 and later joined higher specialist training in Acute and General Internal Medicine with special interest in medical education under the NW deanery. He works at ST6 level of his clinical specialist training in acute and general internal medicine. He is currently taking time out of specialist training to complete higher degree in medical education and also gain valuable experience as educationist.

He joined UCLan School of Medicine in 2017 as phase 2 clinical teacher. He has successfully developed undergraduate neurology teaching and learning module for phase 2 clinical placement at East Lancashire Teaching Hospital, NHS Trust.
