Munira is a Senior Lecturer at the Lancashire Law School. She teaches in the areas of Contract Law, Tort Law, Legal Skills, with a special interest in Street Law. Munira is also involved in the supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations. She is the Law School’s disability lead and a member of the University’s Review Panel.
Munira joined the Lancashire Law School in 2003 as a lecturer in law. She has taught across a wide range of programmes including the LLB, GDL and LLM. Munira completed her PhD at the University of Manchester. Her thesis focussed on environmental and water law with reference to the theoretical framework of immanent critique. Her PhD was titled, ‘Judicial Interpretations of the General Water Pollution Offences: An Internal Coherence Perspective'.
