Katie is a Senior Lecturer in Children’s Nursing mainly teaching on the BSc (hons) Pre-Registration Nursing Degree. Katie maintains clinical practice links working as a Clinical Research Nurse and has an honorary contract with a local children’s hospice.

Katie’s Children’s Nursing experience includes 7½ years as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Paediatric Infectious Diseases and Immunology working in the hospital and community setting. Prior to this Katie has experience working in General Paediatrics, Paediatric Oncology & Haematology and Children’s Hospice settings.
