Judith Broadbridge (BA (Hons), M-es-L, MPhil, PhD) has been at UCLan since September 2005. She has also taught French Language, Translation and Interpreting and aspects of Contemporary French Society and Culture as well as Applied Linguistics at the University of Salford and Staffordshire University.
In addition, to holding a range of lecturing posts, Judith has also held non-teaching positions in recruitment and widening participation in higher education and recruitment and retention in teacher training (with a specialist area of modern foreign languages).
Judith's career has seen her take on responsibilities from course and programme leader and member of quality assurance teams to faculty manager and deputy registrar at university level. She currently takes a lead in French, including being the period abroad co-ordinator for this area.
She specialises in language and applied linguistics.
