Janet has worked with the Comensus service user and carer involvement group since its infancy. She now has the lead facilitator role in the School of Medicine MBBS programme to involve patients in all areas of the curriculum.

Full Profile

Janet has worked with the Comensus community engagement group since its infancy and supported volunteers from diverse backgrounds to engage in teaching and learning at the University of Central Lancashire. Prior to her role in the School of Medicine, she has worked in the School of Social Work and the College of Health and Wellbeing. Her main focus is ensuring that patients’ voices are embedded in all three themes of the MBBS programme, and follows the student journey from admissions through to teaching and assessment.
