Full Profile

Helen Miles (Nee Farrimond) is an experienced General Practitioner clinically active in Lancashire. She has been involved with Medical Education since her undergraduate degree at the University of Manchester, when she became interested in e-Learning and reusable learning outcomes. Helen has worked for both Manchester and Lancaster University as a small group facilitator and has experience as a communications skills tutor and OSCE examiner. Helen Joined UCLan in 2017 to take on the role of Lead for Evidence Informed Practice of Medicine in Phase 2. She also leads the Health and Society Module, placing students within the third sector and facilitates small group teaching.
