Dr Harmony is involved in developing and delivering Biostatistics modules across the school.

Full Profile

Dr Harmony is a lecturer in Medical statistics with research interests in clinical epidemiology and pharmaco-epidemiology. Her first degree was in Pharmacy (2009) followed by a Master’s degree in Public health (2011). She then underwent training in Epidemiology and Statistics and earned her PhD degree from the University of Nottingham in 2016.

She is active in research, and her expertise is in the statistical analysis of large databases and routinely collected data.

Research

Dr Harmony’s particular interest and expertise is in the analysis of large health databases to answer clinical questions mainly in the areas of Gastroenterology, alcohol-related harm and more recently, drug safety and medical education.
