Rebecca is a GP in Stockport, Lancashire and an associate director of postgraduate general practice at the North Western Deanery. Her key interest is in leadership development and with her colleagues. She has been responsible for the development of and delivery of the professional education and development course and group skills development.
Rebecca Baron MB Ch B DRCOG FRCGP
She qualified in Manchester in 1984 and completed her GP training in 1988. She works part-time as a GP in Stockport, in a practice that she has been instrumental in developing since 1988. She has previously worked at board level for Stockport PCT as clinical governance lead. As associate director she has been involved in embedding the Medical Leadership Competency framework into medical training. She also has lead roles in revalidation of awards and research. She also support trainees trainees within the North Western Deanery.
