Research Activities

Debbie was involved with NACRO on a voluntary basis for two years as a research officer. The research she carried out was looking into the resettlement needs of young women prisoners on the young offenders wing in HMP Holloway and in YOI Bullwood Hall. Debbie carried out interviews on the prison landings and sometimes in the cells, using in-depth questionnaires. This Home Office funded research was published by NACRO in 2007.

Debbie's responsibilities include delivering lectures, teaching seminars, setting assessments, reading lists and administration. She also supervises numerous dissertations around a variety of topics.
