I am a new lecturer at the University, in the Accounting and Finance Division.  I am a Chartered Public Finance Accountant and worked for 10 years across the public sector in accounting, audit and financial management roles before taking up a role in HE as a lecturer.

In my spare time I am an active member of Amnesty International, campaigning for human rights.  I am also Chair of the Finance Committee for a local primary school.

Interested in research in the areas of corporate responsibility, corporate governance and modern slavery and corporate reporting requirements.

Teaching Activities and Responsibilities

I am currently teaching on two modules covering legal issues for accounting students.  In the past I have lectured on financial accounting, management accounting, financial management for non-finance professionals and audit.
