Emeka Ibeachu had practised as a Veterinary Surgeon for five years before pursing his interest in Public Health and, consequently, pursued first a Masters in Applied Public Health and then a PhD. in Public Health Epidemiology at University of Central Lancashire (UCLan).

Emeka Ibeachu had practised as a Veterinary Surgeon for five years before pursing his interest in Public Health and, consequently, pursued first a Masters in Applied Public Health and then a Ph.D. in Public Health Epidemiology at University of Central Lancashire (UCLan). He investigated knee problem and its relationship with obesity and physical activity/inactivity. During and since his Ph.D., he undertook learning and teaching support of postgraduate Dental students, Foundation Health and Social Care degree, Sexual Health and Nutrition students at UCLan. He has practical experience of working in Public Health England and held different positions within the National Health Service (NHS).

He has a strong interest in evidence synthesis using a systematic review and improving care pathway for cancer survivors.
