Anna-Maria Gregson (BA (Hons), MA English Language and Contemporary Literary Studies, Advanced Cert. TEFL, Associate FHEA & SEDA) has been with UCLan since August 2008. She has a great deal of experience teaching and working with both international and home students.
Anna-Maria (Anna) has taught across a wide variety of subject disciplines from Stylistics to EFL, ESP, EAP and Study Skills. She is currently teaching final year students on the International Business Communication degree programme. During her time at UCLan, Anna has also taught at UCLan's international franchise campus in Shanghai, delivering academic writing workshops. In addition, she has worked as an Associate Lecturer in WISER - delivering EAP and study skills modules, workshops and tutorials at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. Part of her role in WISER has been to work collaboratively across schools to promote, deliver and embed study skills into the Higher Education curriculum.
Anna is a member of Teaching Toolkit Certificate/Associate Fellowship of HEA & SEDA.
Anna's current research interests are: English for Academic Purposes, Culture and the Language Learner and the Critical-Creative Possibilities within Contemporary Literary Works and Theory.
Anna is currently completing the PG Cert. in Learning & Teaching in Higher Education.
