Adrienne is Course Leader for the BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying Degree.  She is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Adrienne’s skill set is both a practicing chartered surveyor and an experienced lecturer.

Adrienne is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Adrienne Yarwood FRICS, MCIArb.

Adrienne gained her Batchelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, and went on to supplement this with a Masters degree in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution.  These were undertaken whilst working as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction Industry.

Adrienne’s industrial experience is within commercial quantity surveying, leading QS departments and projects along with construction disputes, working on both Construction and Civil Engineering projects such as;

  • Supermarkets
  • Offices
  • Housing
  • Shopping Centres
  • Bridges
  • Gas fired Power stations
  • Waste to Energy plants
  • Nuclear Power Stations

Adrienne then moved into lecturing in 2008 at UCLan and is now Course leader for the BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying programme, delivered both in the UK and Hong Kong.

Adrienne is an active member of the Royal Institution Of Chartered Surveyors, holding positions on Governing Council and Regional Board, in addition to holding chair of the QS and Construction Committee for Manchester in 2019 – 2021.
