Building Capacity and Capability with the Third Sector

Developing a commissioning framework for mental health and social care services

This three year project, commenced September 2007, will develop and implement an innovative transferable commissioning framework to enable commissioners to increase the contribution of voluntary sector organisations in providing community based mental health and social care services in Lancashire.

The project will also assist the Lancashire Voluntary Sector Consortium (LVC), formed in September 2005 to build capacity and capability and increase its membership.
