The International Anxiety and Depression Epidemiological Study in Cystic Fibrosis (TIDES - CF)

This study aims to:

  • Estimate the prevalence of depression and anxiety in patients with CF ages 12 through to adulthood and parent caregivers of children with CF ages birth to 18.
  • Identify risk factors associated with symptoms of depression and anxiety.
  • Evaluate how depression and anxiety influence health outcomes (particularly number of exacerbations and hospitalizations, lung function and nutritional measures).
