Healthy Stadia Development - North West Region
Healthy Stadia Development is a regional programme established to build on the early work of the North West Healthy & Sustainable Settings Programme by pioneering developments in the field of Healthy Sports Stadia.
The University of Central Lancashire's Healthy Settings Unit and the Federation of Stadium Communities worked in partnership to audit activity in clubs and work with pilot stadia (Blackburn Rovers FC, Oldham Athletic FC, St Helens RLFC and Blackpool FC) to develop a toolkit and guidelines focused on the development of effective partnership working leading to specific health-related initiatives.
