Our MA in Religion, Culture and Society combines the disciplines of theology, philosophy, sociology, politics and international relations in an innovative, exciting and challenging postgraduate degree award.

We offer a summer school bridging onto the MA

  • The summer schools bridging module has been developed specifically to support the development of academic skills for postgraduate study
  • It is designed to be a route into postgraduate study for students from a non-traditional academic background
  • We also support professionals who have the required qualifications but would like a refresher before returning to study

Entry requirements

  • Applicants should hold at least 2:2 degree in related subject
  • Applications from all candidates will be considered on their merits in the light of the nature and scope of the programme and if they have experience
  • A detailed admissions procedure will be forwarded on application
  • IELTS: Score of at least 6.5 with no component score less than 6.0 to have been taken within two years prior to the course commencement date
  • Applicants must be able to produce original certificates to prove their English language level
