UCLan sports students visited Cyprus as part of their second year studies.

University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) students from the division of Tourism, Hospitality and Events Management visited Cyprus as part of their second year studies.

In an action packed five days, the students met the President of the Cyprus Tourist organisation, visited the prestigious Four Seasons hotel and toured the brand new UCLan Cyprus campus.

The trip was organised by Carley Sutton, Course Leader for BA (Hons) International Tourism Management and Senior Lecturer in Tourism, Dr Philip Stone.

Carley was delighted with how the trip went saying: “The Tourism, Hospitality and Event industry was alive in Cyprus and students were able to meet key industry professionals. In addition, a number of internship opportunities are available for our students to widen their global experiences.”
