An opportunity has arisen for a Student Casework Administrator to work in the newly expanded Student Operations and Compliance Team in Academic Registry. You will play an important role in administering the University’s student-facing procedures, in particular, the Academic Appeal, Academic Misconduct, Student Complaint and Disciplinary Procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will need experience of administering student-facing procedures in a higher education environment. You will be adept at communicating effectively with staff and students, including providing professional advice and support in a diplomatic and sensitive manner. You will be required to deliver a range of professional services including maintaining accurate records, arranging and supporting meetings, collating data, evidence and reports.
The successful candidate will have a range of GCSEs, including English Language and Maths at Grade C or above, or appropriate equivalent experiential learning and a word processing/typing/IT qualification or demonstrable equivalent experiential learning. You will be able to work flexibly under pressure, to assimilate and present complex information clearly and succinctly, and to exercise judgement in sensitive situations. A high degree of personal resilience and a positive approach are essential for this role.
