About the role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the School of Health, Social Work, and Sport, for a Senior Lecturer in Occupational Therapy. The successful applicant will course lead pre-registration BSc in OT. The school is home to a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and CPD opportunities both taught on-campus and by distance learning and we are proud of our commitment to delivering courses and CPD opportunities with a strong research-, industry-, and practitioner-inspired teaching philosophy.
About you:
The successful applicant will be a Registered Occupational Therapist with significant experience in Higher Education who possesses a flexible and innovative approach to teaching and learning and will support the delivery of pre-registration MSc Occupational Therapy. The successful applicant will also contribute to the teaching, learning, and assessment of Occupational Therapy related subjects at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
You must have an undergraduate and postgraduate degree in a relevant subject area and a formal teaching qualification or membership of the Higher Education Academy. Applicants need to meet all essential criteria on the person specification to be considered for interview. This position is based at the University's main campus in Preston, Lancashire.
