The Centre for Collaborative Learning at the University of Central Lancashire are seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Learning Advancement to contribute to, and lead in, the areas of course development and course leadership in learning and teaching and staff advancement. The successful candidate will also engage in curriculum development in response to the professional and inter-professional agenda including Fellowships of the HE Academy, be enthusiastic and visionary, keen to shape education in a positive manner and have the ability to work as part of a team and take on and accept leadership responsibility.

Applicants should have professional, course leadership experience in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education and supporting staff in academic development.

The successful candidate will have a good honours degree (or equivalent in a relevant subject and a PhD or a higher degree in an appropriate subject area and demonstrate commitment to undertake doctoral study. Fellowship of the HE Academy and PG Cert in Learning and Teaching in HE/PGCE is essential. There will also be an expectation that the successful candidates will have a flexible and innovative approach to teaching, learning and assessment within the changing educational environment.
