The School of Management is seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer in International Business. We would particularly welcome applicants whose area of expertise lies in business strategy, sustainability, and business futures. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, innovative and committed to delivering an excellent student experience in online and face to face settings.
The successful candidate will join a highly motivated team with considerable expertise and experience in both undergraduate and postgraduate course delivery. It will be expected that the person appointed will be familiar with contemporary developments in their discipline and will be able to contribute to course development and curriculum management.
We would also welcome applications from candidates with a quantitative research background. We would, particularly welcome applicants with a strong research/knowledge exchange profile and experience in teaching and supervising international students. The successful candidate will be able to teach across postgraduate programmes and contribution to postgraduate supervision.
The successful candidate will have excellent organisation and communication skills, be committed to the success of students, demonstrate effective learning, teaching and assessment skills.
Good interpersonal skills as well as an ability to work independently and collaboratively are core requirements for this post. A good honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject is essential, as are a PhD in a related area a study, a professional teaching qualification or membership of the HE Academy and REF-able publications in a relevant discipline.
