We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join IMPlementation and Capacity building Team (IMPaCT), which works in partnership with the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) NW Coast and its member organisations. Members include regional universities, NHS, local authority and third sector organisations.
Working as part of a team of experienced and early career research staff, Research Fellow will assume day-to-day responsibility for delivery of a range of health and social care research projects, whilst further developing their skills and experience in health research. The post holder will also contribute to external competitive grants and contracts and publish high impact, peer reviewed papers independently and in collaboration with others.
The successful applicant will hold a PhD (or equivalent) in a health or social care topic. Also, they will have a knowledge of education and training for research within a health and/or social care environment and proven track record of successful project management and research.
Research skills including literature retrieval, data collection, evidence synthesis and critical appraisal are essential for the role, as well as knowledge of research design, qualitative and quantitative methodologies, database management systems and communication skills (written and oral).
