This is an exciting opportunity to join the University of Central Lancashire Widening Participation (WP) team as the WP Programmes Manager. This new position will have responsibility for managing several WP programmes, which engage children and young people in-school and on-campus.
The role will manage an outreach team to engage and encourage people from all backgrounds to consider Higher Education (HE). The role will oversee the development and delivery of projects, events, and activities that inspire young people from backgrounds under-represented in HE. The post-holder will manage the data collection and processing for all WP programmes and will work with the WP evaluation team to ensure all activities evaluated and reported appropriately in line with our APP commitments.
This will be a varied and rewarding role, contributing to the University's WP mission, making Higher Education accessible to people from all backgrounds. The successful candidate will be educated to degree level and will have strong project management skills, excellent people management, and an ability to use a data-driven approach to achieve targets. An excellent understanding of evaluating impact and experience in WP is essential for this role.
