The School of Medicine wishes to appoint an Administrative Assistant to join the National Centre for Remote and Rural Medicine (NCRRM) at our campus in Westlakes, Cumbria.

The postholder will provide administrative support to both the NCRRM Director/Dean and Centre Manager, as well as the wider academic team. You will be responsible for a range of organisational aspects of the day to day running of the National Centre, including organisation and minuting of meetings and will act as a key liaison with the School’s partner Trusts and other stakeholders. You will have excellent communication skills as you will deal with academic and clinical staff as well as excellent IT and diary management skills.

The successful candidate will hold a range of GCSEs at Grade C or above and have demonstrable recent experience of current administrative/clerical practices.

Applicants need to meet all essential criteria on the person specification to be considered for interview. This position is based at our Westlakes Campus in Cumbria,  but occasional travel to Preston Campus may be required.
