An opportunity has arisen within the School of Dentistry for a Lecturer in Dental Therapy to support the teaching of Dental Therapy and Bachelor of Dental Surgery programmes.
The successful applicant must be a qualified and experienced Dental Therapist, registered with the General Dental Council. The role will involve lecturing and the teaching of clinical skills as well as chairside clinical supervision in the onsite Dental Clinic in Preston.
The successful applicants will also be expected to contribute to the wider activities of the School and University in teaching, learning, assessment, research and income generation. Teaching experience (ideally in Higher Education) is essential, as is a first degree. A teaching qualification or willingness to undertake University PGCE on appointment is also required.
