Future U are seeking a Graduate Outreach Intern to support the team in the delivery of their central outreach programme. The post holder will visit schools, colleges, and community groups across Lancashire to deliver interactive, engaging and informative talks, activities and workshops to young people.

Future U is the Lancashire Uni Connect programme. Funded by the Office for Students, Uni Connect is a national programme that aims to widen participation in Higher Education. Future U is a partnership of Higher Education and Further Education providers across Lancashire with the University of Central Lancashire as the lead institution. 

The post holder will be a recent graduate from any institution (not just UCLan). The role will require experience of preparing materials and presenting to a variety of audiences. The post holder should also be able to speak confidently and positively about their own educational journey.

This position is based in Preston at UCLan’s Westleigh Building (PR4 0RB) with the option to work from home on two days (subject to change, following UCLan’s blended working policy and business need). 

This position available for an immediate start (subject to employment checks).
