The University of Central Lancashire wishes to recruit an Administrative Assistant to work across the Financial Operations teams.

The successful applicant will have demonstrable experience within a busy finance department. Core responsibilities will include customer and supplier onboarding, processing of sales orders and invoices, processing of purchase invoices and supplier statement reconciliations with a focus on accuracy and timeliness for all. The ability to use computer based financial systems and Microsoft Office applications is essential as is a working knowledge of finance practices and procedures.

You will be providing a range of services to the University’s students, commercial customers. staff and suppliers, therefore commitment to providing a customer focussed approach is essential. You will take pride in your work and have the ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure, and prioritise your tasks appropriately. You will participate effectively as a team member being flexible and adaptable in your approach to your workload. The successful applicant will be comfortable communicating at all levels, both verbally and in writing, to all stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have a range of GCSE’s, including English Language and Maths at Grade C or above. Candidates will be working towards AAT Level 2 qualified or technical qualification in a Finance or Business Administrative related field or qualified by experience.
