We are seeking to appoint a Customer Service Advisor to support the administrative functions of the Student Accommodation. The post is based within the Customer Service Team, and will also support the activity of the wider accommodation service.
Student accommodation is an integral part of many students experience at University, and plays an important role in recruitment and retention of our students. Additional rental income is in excess of £6million annually and contributes to the financial health of the University.
The successful applicant will play a key part in enhancing our excellent customer service provision through involvement in the following duties such as supporting all aspects of students accommodation journey, including face to face queries, email and phone calls and supporting users through our customer focused on-line system. They will be responsible for managing vacancies within the accommodation, including dealing with new enquiries and applications to move rooms. Supporting students in rent payment arrangements, both online and in person, and students requiring additional financial support with payment arrangements. Applicants will also be expected to play their part in the marketing and viewing arrangements of accommodation on campus. Successful applicants will be educated to degree level or have a professional qualification or equivalent level of experiential learning.
This post will require some weekend working to support Open Day activity and Student Welcome/Move Out events
