The University’s new £60 million Student Centre and University Square will be opening in late 2021 and is set to become the thriving heart of our Preston Campus. We’ve created stunning new spaces for our Students, colleagues & visitors to explore and enjoy, a central hub for our second-to-none support services, and a gateway between the University and the city which the whole community can be proud of.


You will act as ambassadors for the University, providing an excellent and engaged first point of contact service for visitors and customers. Pro-actively engage with internal and external customers, ensuring a positive experience through exceptional customer service.

This is an exciting opportunity someone with experience of providing excellent customer service in a busy and varied environment and of effective face to face engagement with customers. The successful applicant will hold a degree qualification in a relevant subject or the equivalent experiential learning. Key skills to ensure success in this role include the ability to work consistently under pressure, discretion, tact, diplomacy and an appreciation of confidentiality.
