The School wishes to appoint a highly motivated individual to join our enthusiastic and committed MBBS teaching team. This is an ideal opportunity for those wishing to further develop their experience of teaching and assessment in the field of clinical skills. You will work with the Theme Lead for Medical Skills and Quality Care on the planning, delivery and assessment of clinical skills in Years 3 and 4, in both the workplace and the classroom setting. You will teach clinical skills as part of the Campus Day programme and will provide mentoring and support to students from the School of Medicine within the workplace with regard to clinical placements, and clinical skills and the assessment thereof, particularly with regard to Workplace-Based Assessments (WBAs).

Holding full registration with a relevant UK body you will have experience of working to professional standards. Post registration qualification in a professional field of expertise is essential as is a Higher Degree in a health-related subject or willingness to work towards. A Teaching qualification (or willingness to undertake on appointment) is also essential.

Applicants will be expected to have previous experience of the teaching and assessment of clinical skills as well as excellent time management and organizational skills. Utilising excellent communication skills, you will be an active networker and have the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
