This role, which includes teaching and leading a Media Saturday Club, as well as undertaking administrative duties, is integral to the school's mission. The successful candidate will be a valued member of our team, contributing to the recruitment of students and providing advice on progression and career opportunities. This is an hourly paid position for semester 1 only.

In addition, the post will require the candidate to support recruitment activities that will lead to travel opportunities. We need someone with a passion for their subject area and strong presentation and communication skills. Like all media staff, you would be expected to get involved in developing industry contacts, potential employers, and other external organisations to develop the course’s employability potential and reputation.

The successful candidate will have relevant experience in an academic environment, a good honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject and a postgraduate qualification or equivalent experience

In addition, you should be IT literate and be able to record student attendance, upload the necessary coursework on the university network and contact students through digital channels. You should also have relevant Industry practice experience. The role requires the flexibility to provide teaching and support when necessary (during occasional periods of sickness cover and delivery of collaborative projects) across Media. Finally, you would be expected to be involved in the recruitment of new students at outreach events.
