The University of Central Lancashire wishes to recruit an Accounts Payable Administrative Assistant to work within the Financial Operations Accounts Payable team. The wider Financial Operations team also includes Accounts Receivable and Payroll & Pensions.
The successful applicant will have demonstrable experience within Accounts Payable. Core responsibilities will include supplier onboarding and the processing of purchase invoices to ensure accurate and timely supplier payments. The ability to use computer based financial systems and Microsoft Office applications is essential as is a working knowledge of finance practices and procedures.
You will be providing a range of services to the University’s staff and suppliers, therefore commitment to providing a customer focussed approach is essential. You will have the ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure, and prioritise your tasks appropriately and will participate effectively as a team member, being flexible and adaptable in your approach to your workload. The successful applicant will be comfortable communicating at all levels, both verbally and in writing, to the University’s staff and suppliers.
The successful applicant will have a range of GCSE’s, including English Language and Maths at Grade C or above, and be working towards or AAT Level 2 qualified; although applicants with an equivalent qualification or qualified by experience will be considered.
