*English as medium of instruction if student has taken an academic qualification equivalent to a UK bachelor degree or higher which was taught in America. OR

If your academic and/or English language qualifications are not sufficient to allow for direct entry to one of our undergraduate or postgraduate taught programmes, you may wish to consider one of our Undergraduate or Master Foundation Programmes, offered at UCLan by ONCampus. Successful completion of this programme can guarantee entry to a wide range of programmes at UCLan.

The University of Central Lancashire has a wide range of Scholarships and Bursaries available for international students. Below are the criteria for the award of the Merit and Excellence Scholarship.

Excellence Scholarship criteria Three SAT Subject Tests at 680 each
OR Three Preferred Advanced Placements (APs) with minimum grades 4 each.
OR
SAT 1800 ‘Critical Reading’, ‘Math’ and ‘Writing’ (before March 2016)
OR
SAT 1250 ‘Evidence Based Reading and Writing’ and ‘Math’ (after March 2016)
OR
ACT Composite Score 26.
GPA 3.7/4

Please note that these scholarships are not available for MBBS programme; distance learning programmes, Pre-Sessional Programmes or Postgraduate Research Programmes.
