Entry Requirements

Undergraduate – Year 0 - 72 tariff points    As per UCLan A level grade requirements Standard English language entry requirements - IELTS 6.0 or equivalent
Uganda Certificate of Education English Grade 1-6
Undergraduate - Year 1 entry
112 tariff points
As per UCLan A level grade requirements Standard English language entry requirements – IELTS 6.0
Uganda Certificate of Education English Grade 1-6
Masters Good bachelors degree from a recognised University which can be graded by any of the following systems:
Class IIii
Honours lower
GPA 3.0-3.9
Standard English language entry requirements- IELTS 6.5 or equivalent
Uganda Certificate of Education English Grade 1-6

If your academic and/or English language qualifications are not sufficient to allow for direct entry to one of our undergraduate or postgraduate taught programmes, you may wish to consider one of our Undergraduate or Master Foundation Programmes, offered at UCLan by ONCampus. Successful completion of this programme can guarantee entry to a wide range of programmes at UCLan.

The University of Central Lancashire has a wide range of Scholarships and Bursaries available for international students. Below are the criteria for the award of the Merit and Excellence Scholarship.

  Undergraduate Postgraduate Taught
Merit Scholarship criteria BBB in UACE 2:1 Bachelor degree (GPA range 3.6 and above)
Excellence Scholarship criteria AAB in UACE 1st class honours  Bachelor degree (GPA range 4.0 and above)

Please note that these scholarships are not available for MBBS programme; distance learning programmes, Pre-Sessional Programmes or Postgraduate Research Programmes.
