The Heavy Water Collective (Maud Haya-Baviera, Victoria Lucas and Joanna Whittle) respond creatively to traces of history, situating archive-based research in a contemporary context through the production of artworks.
In their exhibition Hollows, Whittle, Lucas and Haya-Baviera present an exhibition of works that respond to material found in both the University’s Special Collections and Lancashire Archives.
Hollows incorporates threads of research that, through sustained dialogue, weave a network of meaning between the resulting artworks exhibited.
This exhibition is open every Saturday 11am-3pm from Saturday 5 April until Saturday 26 April 2025. Prior to this, a launch event will also take place on Thursday 3 April 2025. For access to the exhibition outside of these times, you will need to make an appointment individually.
