Faculty of Allied Health and Wellbeing

Our portfolio of innovative courses have been developed in collaboration with partner organisations, employers, service users, carers and members of the public. Our programmes are continually updated in response to local needs, incorporating national policy and evidence-based practice mapped against professional statutory regulatory body, education and training standards.

As a student in our Faculty, you will have access to work-based learning and placements within a diverse range of partner provider organisations across Lancashire and the North West. These include Local Authority, acute, community and primary care settings, as well as independent, public and voluntary sector organisations. Depending on your course of study, you will also make use of our high calibre sports and contemporary skills laboratories including a hospital ward, operating theatre, high dependency unit, cardiac resuscitation suite, an ambulance, a community flat, simulation facilities and consultation rooms.
