This session is designed for employees in small to medium organisations (SMEs) in Lancashire who are current or aspiring apprentices, apprentice mentors or employers*.

The Covid-19 pandemic brought a lot of changes to our working practices. According to a recent CIPD report, this has become the norm for many workplaces, therefore we can safely assume that for the foreseeable, the future of work for many will be ‘hybrid’. The hybrid working model involves a combination of remote, semi-remote and entirely office-based employees, potentially working to different scheduled hours. This structure might vary on a day-to-day basis, and if we are in the office, we may be working alongside different colleagues at any given time.

Leaders, managers and team members need to be equipped to adapt to a wide variety of working arrangements and additional complexity.

It has been over 3 years since the first Covid-19 lockdown, many have adapted, and much research has taken place about what works well and what doesn’t work well for hybrid working. Many individuals and teams continue to feel the impact of hybrid working on their work and relationships with colleagues.
