Join us to explore the subject of conflict in teams.

In this face to face course we will discuss ‘healthy’ vs ‘unhealthy’ conflict, review scenarios, explore our own experience of conflict and gain tools and techniques to manage a range of situations.

During the day you will:

  • Understand the sources of conflict
  • Explore the benefits of healthy conflict and recognise unhealthy conflict
  • Identify why high performing teams can suddenly become dysfunctional and argumentative
  • Gain tools and techniques to manage a range of situations

Regardless of your position or experience in an organisation, conflict can occur.

Whether you are inclined to run away from or run towards conflict, this course will help you to explore how conflict can occur, how to avoid negative reactions and move toward 'healthy' conflict which can be a positive development tool.

Refreshments and a light lunch will be provided.

This session is design for employees in small to medium organisations (SMEs) in Lancashire who are current or aspiring apprentices, apprentice mentors or employers.

As an ESF-funded project, there is an eligibility and registration process prior to attending the course. A member of the LEAP Team will be able to support you to complete this.

If you have any questions, please email ContactLEAP@uclan.ac.uk

Tickets will close on Friday 26 May
