The next generation of sequencing is here! Join us for an exciting event featuring the latest tech updates from Oxford Nanopore and insightful talks from local scientists about their cutting-edge research.

The seminar will host and showcase workflow demonstrations and feature user talks from UCLan's research community.

Opening the session, we have remarks from our own Vice-Chancellor, Professor Graham Baldwin and Pro Vice-Chancellor of Research and Enterprise, Professor St. John Crean, alongside field experts Philip Housworth MSc FIBMS FRAI  and Dr. Ihtesham Rehman.

Following this , Nanopore account manager Rosie Ashton will provide an introduction to Oxford Nanopore Technologies.  To conclude the event, there will also be an opportunity to engage in Q&A sessions, providing a unique opportunity to interact with our speakers and gain deeper insights into the topics discussed.
