The COVID-19 pandemic, health inequalities and the role of universities.

Discussion on the economic, social, and the health impacts of COVID 19 on the black population and other ethnic minorities in Brazil and the United Kingdom. The role of universities in this crisis scenario and how these institutions have responded to the needs of population who are more exposed to social and racial vulnerability will be discussed.
