From buying a bus ticket to selling a house, your life is filled with legal contracts, often without you noticing.

Join us for an interesting talk about how everyday actions, like buying a coffee or clicking “accept” online, can enter you into a legal contract without you realising it.

Have you ever had a friend promise to pay for dinner, only to back out at the last minute? In this talk, you will find out how this simple promise differs from legally binding agreement. Learn about the pivotal role law plays in your everyday life and explore some of the mechanisms for resolving disputes related to legal agreements.

Our free public lectures are held each month to ignite discussion and share interesting ideas and knowledge with everyone. Whether you’re a student, professional, or simply a curious person, our lectures are designed to be accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
