In this session, Caroline Rayner, Employment Partner at Baines Wilson, will look at this difficult issue from an employer’s perspective.

iROWE and the University of Central Lancashire centre of Business, Management and Enterprise are running a series of seminars on ‘supporting the return to the workplace’ .

Earlier this year ACAS published a report about the cost of conflict in the workplace which is estimated to cost business £28.5 billion per annum. In this session, Caroline Rayner, Employment Partner at Baines Wilson, will look closely at this difficult issue from an employer’s perspective. Caroline will look at the headline messages to employers in the report and the practical implications, the types of conflict typically seen at work and what has changed due to the pandemic and the impact it has had on employers ability to manage conflict. Caroline will also share top tips on conflict management and what to do if a situation cannot be resolved.
