Police have been stumped by a mysterious and grisly find. Have you got what it takes to find and interpret the skeletal evidence to solve the mystery?
Join forensic anthropologists at the University of Central Lancashire for an interactive, immersive, one-day workshop where your powers of deduction and reasoning will be put to the test.
The workshop is perfect for 15-18 year olds, but anyone with an interest in forensic anthropology, osteology, crime scene investigation and solving puzzles can come along.
The workshop will give attendees the tools to distinguish human from animal bone, perform basic skeletal analysis and build an osteological profile of remains. You'll also learn how to interpret physical and circumstantial evidence to solve the case.
You will receive a certificate of attendance and goodie bag. You should bring your own packed lunch and a drink.
