Job summary

The successful candidate will work towards a BA (Hons) Digital Marketing Degree Apprenticeship, whilst simultaneously gaining relevant work experience. This in-depth training programme ensures that new skills are gained and developed as well as obtaining an excellent knowledge of the Company. You will assist the Head of Marketing & PR with the administration of HAPPA’s online presence, to include HAPPA’s social media pages, management of website content and online fundraising. To help the Head of Marketing & PR use online presence to develop HAPPA’s profile and expand existing stakeholder base.

You will assist the Head of Marketing & PR with the administration of HAPPA’s online presence, to include HAPPA’s social media pages, management of website content and online fundraising. To help the Head of Marketing & PR use online presence to develop HAPPA’s profile and expand existing stakeholder base.

The role includes the following responsibilities: 

Website Content Management

  • To help input reports and articles to the website.
  • In collaboration with the Head of Marketing & PR update NEWS content the website.
  • To monitor and amend/delete content and information from the websites.
  • To monitor, update and edit the ‘What’s On’ calendars on both websites in a timely fashion.

Social Media Administration

  • In collaboration with the Head of Marketing & PR create a monthly plan of social media content which provides a guide for when to promote events/activities.
  • To help update all social media platforms with content (Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn)
  • To promote current campaigns through Facebook.
  • To monitor social media platforms to ensure there are no derogatory comments.
  • To answer messages received through social media, in a timely fashion, or pass on the enquiry to the appropriate member of staff.
  • To promote and advertise events through all social media platforms.
  • To help the Head of Marketing & PR with gathering content from departments and create an interactive online offering.

Online Fundraising

  • To maximise the use of online fundraising and to promote to the general public through social media, e-shots etc.
  • To update, monitor and review the organisations presence on online fundraising/promotional sites and update content.

Other Responsibilities

  • To actively seek out ways to improve HAPPA’s online presence.
  • To attend meetings in relation to the diary of events and interactive yard experience.
  • On occasions assist with photography for events/activities.
  • Any other duties deemed suitable by your Line Manager.

On our BA (Hons) Digital Marketing Degree Apprenticeship you’ll be combining theory and practice as you learn how to create and execute a digital marketing strategy. You’ll have all the tools you need to help a business by promoting its brands, products and services through social media, websites, apps and e-content.

Working pattern:

Monday - Friday 10am - 4pm

There will be an opportunity to work one day a week from home, after a qualifying probation period.
