Full job description

The role includes the following responsibilities: 

  • Assist in the preparation of estimates, budgets, and cost plans for construction projects.
  • Conduct quantity take-offs and measurements from architectural and engineering drawings.
  • Assist in the procurement process, including preparing tender documents, evaluating bids, and negotiating contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Collaborate with project teams to monitor costs, track variations, and identify potential risks or opportunities for cost savings.
  • Assist in the preparation of interim valuations, final accounts, and other financial reports.
  • Support senior quantity surveyors in managing contractual obligations and resolving disputes with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with company procedures and industry standards.
  • Actively participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and industry knowledge.
