Entry requirements
Tuition Fees are paid by an Apprenticeship Levy, so it’s free to you, although you won’t qualify for any funding from Student Finance.
- Level 4 entry (Year 1) UCAS: 104 points at A2 including Maths and Physics or STEM at grade C
- BTEC Extended Diploma: DMM in Engineering including Maths units
- Pass Access Course: 104 points including 15 level 3 credits in Maths and Physics or STEM at Merit
- International Baccalaureate Diploma: Pass with 104 points from Higher Level subjects including Higher Level 6 in Maths and Physics or STEM
- T Level: M including Maths and Physics
- IELTS: 6.0 with no component lower than 5.5
- GCSEs: 5 at grade C/4 including Maths and English or equivalent
- Entry to level 5 will be considered on a individual basis, usually with an HNC Engineering or similar which can be mapped against the KSBs and AHEP LOs required at that level

Degree Apprentice Care Leaver Bursary

Information for employers
An apprentice is employed to do a real job while studying for a formal qualification, usually for one day a week at one of our campuses or training centres.
This course meets apprenticeship standards and your apprentice will have the knowledge and skills to succeed in their chosen career or progress to the next apprenticeship level.
