Course overview
This module will provide students with an opportunity to broaden their understanding of personality disorder and associated assessments and interventions. Students will be able to critically reflect on and enhance their capacity for working with individuals with a diagnosis of personality disorder from a social perspective. They will be able to make links with their current practice or approach, and explore further the inherent complex challenges that arise from this diagnosis.

Entry requirements
This module is aimed at practitioners who already work in mental health services, and who wish to raise their awareness and refine their practice to incorporate a psychosocial, relationship-based approach. It is also open to those who are interested in developing their knowledge in this area.
All candidates need to ensure that they have a relevant undergraduate degree at 2:2 or above or evidence of their ability to study at postgraduate level.
